Book Suggestions for 1st Graders
Here are some suggestions to get you started. This list is by no means exhaustive – not enough hours in the day! But this is a good list of great books that homeschool 1st graders will not want to miss. 1st Grader Read Alone Book Suggestions (Alphabetically by AUTHOR, TITLE)
In 1st Grade kids are able to begin reading themselves. And by the end of 1st grade they can pick up and read many pictures books. Here are some suggestions of books to get you started. But don’t forget to look for books your child has an interest in and check your local library where they can guide you to books at your child’s exact reading level.
