The Door in the Wall Literature Study Guide & Lapbook

As we continue in our homeschool journey I continue to make more printables to enrich my kids education. With Goofy entering 2nd grade in the fall it is time to start studying some great literature more in depth.

This is the first of many Literature Based Study Guides and Lapbook Combos I will be releasing.

The Door in the Wall by Marguerite De Angeli is a historical fiction, Newbery Aware winning novel. The story takes place in the Middle Ages (also known as the Dark Ages) and tells the story of a 10 year old boy’s journey to become a Page (and ultimately a knight). Unfortunately, the Black Death plague has swept over London and he faces some obstacles on his journey. With the help of Brother Luke, a monk, he will become a most unexpected hero.
