Training keeps us up to date on current strategies and techniques and inspires us to do better at our job. Homeschooling is no different. You need training. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no way you can be an expert on every subject from K-12. Come here by experts that will train and equip you to teach your child more effectively.

Picking a curriculum can be overwhelming! There are so many wonderful choices out there – but it can be a daunting and time consuming task to pick just one. Homeschool conventions have halss filled with hundreds of vendors. You can actually pick up and look at the curriculum you are considering. You can ask questions. Plus you can usually get some amazing deals if you purchase your curriculum at a convention.
Fun
Homeschool Conventions can be a lot of fun. They are a chance to be encouraged by other homeschoolers and keep your eyes on the prize of why you are homeschooling. And if you go to one of Great Homeschool Conventions you will also laugh out loud with comedian Mark Lowry.

Pick Great Homeschool Conventions!
There are lots of choices when it comes to a homeschool convention. But like everything else, not every option is the best option. Local conventions are the most convenient but many are just not big enough to have huge exhibitor halls (to include that one curriculum you are wanting to see up close) or have many choices in sessions (to cover the topics you need covered most).
