January Meal Planner



In January it's time to sever comfort food that not only warms our bellies, but also our homes as it cooks. Get ready for some seasonal favorites and warm-you-up soups.   Our meal plan feeds our family of 5.  So for all you busy moms out there – dinner is served {and you didn’t even have to plan it!}


Week 1:

Monday Fruit & Granola (use coconut oil)


Spanish Rice with Hot Dogs** Classic Tortilla Soup** fruit
Tuesday Oatmeal w/ fruit Refried Bean Burritos with homemade taco shells (save 1/2 for tomorrow’s lunch) SoufflĂ©** string cheese
Wednesday Yogurt & Fruit Pizza Quesadilla (with leftover taco shells) Crockpot BBQ SandwichesCrockpot BBQ Sandwiches on Sandwich Buns (makes enough for 2 meals) popcorn
Thursday Blueberry Muffin Leftover BBQ Sandwiches baked beans & fresh bread** Granola
Friday Farmer Eggs** with 2-3 potatoes, 1 pepper  & 2 eggs per person)

with juice
Baked potato with cheese, sour cream, and broccoli Peanut Linguini**

Green Beans

Wednesday Yogurt & Fruit Refried Bean Burritos with homemade taco shells (save 1/2 for Friday’s lunch) Crockpot BBQ Roast with Confetti Couscous String Cheese
Thursday Banana Bread Leftover BBQ Roast or PBJ Sandwiches Stir Fry (Vegetarian with 1 cup nuts) fruit
Friday Fried Eggs + Fruit  Tortilla spread with cream cheese & topped with cooked bacon Lemon Chicken** with buttered potatoes and peas popcorn
Saturday pancakes leftover Cheese & Veggie Pizza cucumber slices

But I think it will be more helpful to you if you just read the menu {this post} on your smart phone, ipad, or computer.
