Easy Valentine's day Treat for Families
I am always looking for fun treats to make my kids – I think my Grandma was right. The key to a man (and kids) hearts is through their stomach! I saw this recipe here and decided it was perfect and to give it a try.
Valentine's Day Fudge Recipe
Here is what you are going to need:
- bag of semi sweet chocolate chips
- bag of Andes Peppermint Crunch chips
- can of Sweetened condensed milk
-
vanilla (optional) - 8x8 pan lined with parchment paper
- saucepan
How to Make 3 ingredient Fudge!
Melt entire bag of chocolate chips over medium to low heat stirring in 1/2 of the can of condensed milk. Add in 1 teas vanilla extract if you like at this point. When you get a smooth consistency pour it into you parchment paper lined 8x8 pan. Put in the fridge to set.
Next, Melt 3/4 of the bag of Andes peppermint crunch chips over medium low heat stirring in the remaining 1/2 of the condensed milk until you get a smooth consistency. Remove from burner and pour over chocolate layer.
Immediately sprinkle with reserved 1/4 bag Andes peppermint crunch chips and put in fridge for at least 1 hour to harden.
Use heart cookie cutters to cut fudge.
This fudge is delicious! Who would have guessed that adding a little sweetened condensed milk to chocolate chips would result in a fudge consistency. So easy….. so pretty…. and so delicious!
