Book Reports

As your elementary student is reading more complex books, story lines, and rich vocabulary it is important to ensure they are understanding what they are reading! It’s also a great way to help kids ensure they are reading slowly and carefully.

FREE Printable Book Report

We’ve been using my in depth book report I shared last year. But I decided we need some shorter to the point book reports that my kids would more eagerly use more often as they were shorter and to the point. I find book reports do such a good job of helping them retain what they read, process what they read, and practice writing.

This book report form is great for Kindergarten, 1st,  2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders as well.

NOTE: There are two different styles of lines in the download.

HINT: You may also like our or our handy Reading Comprehension Bookmarks (any book: fiction or non fiction).
