I wake up early.
Really early!
My alarm is set for 4 am. I know it sounds early (and don’t worry that means I am going to bed around 9pm) but waking up early allows me to get things done while I am fresh and before the business of the days starts. We moms have a LOT to do!
As I sit down at my desk to see what the day holds, pay bills, respond to emails, write posts, plan menus and what-not …. I need my cup of coffee in hand to get going!

I actually have a lot of favorite mugs.
We gave up having nice pretty matching mugs long ago. It makes it easier to know whose mug is whose when they look different, especially with company.
I love having a different mug to match my mood.
If I am feeling empowered and ready to tackle the world I reach for my Incredibles or Tigger. Nostalgic? Our Monopoly mug reminds me of how I met my husband and how he proposed. Silly? The Alice in Wonderland cup looks like three cups stacked together. But my favorite says “Mom”. My favorite title ever!
