Breakfast Apple Cake Recipe

This has to be one of our favorite breakfast recipes!







My family loves waking up to the smell of this delicious, easy to make breakfast apple cake recipe! This breakfast dish tastes as good as it smells!






 



Breakfast Apple Cake Recipe

In a large bowl mix 4 eggs and 3/4 cup canola oil.



add sugar



Mix together the following:


  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar

  • 2 teas cinnamon

  • 1 teas baking soda

  • 1/2 teas salt

  • 1 teas vanilla extract

Now add in 2 1/4 cups flour and mix until thoroughly mixed.





add 4 peeled, sliced, and chopped apples


Now peel and chop 4 apples (we used Fuji) and mix into apple cake batter.

Pour into one greased 9x13 pan or two square pans. Now sprinkle with the following streusel topping and bake 350 F for 50-60 minutes.


  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup quick cooking oats

  • 1 teas cinnamon

  • 4 tab butter


let it cool 5 minutes and cut


Insert toothpick in the center; if it is done it should come out clean. Allow breakfast apple cake to cool about 5 minutes before slicing and serving. YUM!

  • 4 sliced apples


Topping


  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup quick cooking oats

  • 1 teas cinnamon

  • 4 tab butter


Mix batter and pour into greased 9x13 pan. Mix up streusel topping and cut in the butter; sprinkle on top and bake 350 for 50-60 minutes.

Servings: 8-12
