Daily Calendars are a great way to cement in some important life skills that don’t really get adequately covered anywhere else.
We have found them incredibly useful for Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade kids.
Calendar Notebooks
These sheets are in color and intended to use with a laminator and dry erase markers. They were made to be flexible and easy to use the same calendar notebook page all year long!
There are lots of options in this pack including:
- Toddler / Preschool – These are geared for young learners with no writing necessary. Kids just check the appropriate boxes, trace shapes, trace numbers 1-10, identify the daily weather, and help pick appropriate clothes for the child based on the weather.
- 1st grade / 2nd grade – These pages include writing the date (long hand/short hand), identifying yesterday, number words, tally marks, using the date to make number bonds, finding the time on the calendar, and identifying the weather.
- Other sheets - intended to use in combination with the first page to reinforce any skills your child needs help with: 100 days of school, adding up coins to equal number of days in school, writing your name throughout the year, graphing weather, writing out the date various different ways, and more.
My favorite sheet is this cheat sheet. This helps kids have quick and easy access to spellings of months, days, seasons, colors, value of currency, and more. This helps kids become confident as they learn.
