Monster Cookie


cream together butter and sugar



Cream together 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and 1 stick of butter.



Next add in 1/2 cup cream peanut butter.



add an egg



Add one egg and 1 teas vanilla extract.  When creamy, add the following ingredients:


  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 1/2 teas baking soda

  • 1/4 teas salt

  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats


add in monster mix from target to save time



Now blend in whatever you have on hand to make 1 1/2 cups of peanuts, m&m’s, chocolate chips, peanut chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, etc.



We liked to use the Monster Trail Mix from Target to save a step!

Your batter will be thick and caulked fully of yummy candy!



put tab of dough on parchment lined cookie sheet and press flat with bottom of cup



Drop by rounded tablespoon on a parchment lined cookie sheet (I use this cookie scoop). Flatten tops with the bottom of the glass as these cookies wont’ spread much.



put on rack to cool



Bake in 350 F preheated oven for 12-14 minutes. Allow to sit on cookie sheet another 3 minutes and then cool on cooling rack.  These are oh, so GOOD!

INGREDIENTS:






  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 stick butter

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 1 teas vanilla

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 1/2 teas baking soda

  • 1/4 teas salt

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats

  • 1 1/2 cup Monster Trail Mix (or mixture of peanuts, M&M, chocolate chips, etc.)






INSTRUCTIONS:






  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Cream together sugar and butter. Add in egg, peanut butter, and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Add in flour, soda, salt and oats until well blended. Finally add in 1 1/2 cup of monster trail mix.

  4. Drop on rounded tablespoon on parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake 12-14 minutes, let set on cookie sheet 3 minutes and cool on cooling rack.
