2 Ingredient Homemade Puffy Paint


2 ingredient puffy paint recipe for christmas crafts for kids


You only need 2 ingredients for this puffy paint – equal parts white school glue and shaving cream.



add food coloring


If you like you can add food coloring or glitter to your puffy paint. (Just remember that if the food coloring you use stains your hands when you cook; it will stain kids hands if they use it to paint too.)

add sprinkles for extra depth and fun


My daughter’s favorite part of making our Christmas trees with puffy paint was adding sprinkles as ornaments to her tree! This is a great way to use up sprinkles.



Hint: We always buy sprinkles after holidays when they go on clearance for 75-90% off!

My preschooler decided it would be great fun to finger (um, hand) paint. It really did have a cool, thick texture that was fun to play in. But again, if you use food coloring it may stain your child’s hand for a day or so.
