"The line had been crossed! Since it had never happened before they shouted orders to one another to mount their horses and grab the nearest ammunition, which, oddly enough, turned out to be their marshmallows."
This book was written by the same authors as '>'>'>'>'>'>'>'>Cloudy with a Chance for Meatballs. In this fun, silly, absurd tale their is a town of Left and a town of Right. There is a yellow line that separates the two towns. The knights of Ambidextrous guard the line. One day the line gets crossed, marshmallows go flying, and the people realize the line was absurd! Your kids will love the silly book and wonderful tale. Ages 3-9

This is a fun to read book. Next to each 6 rhyming lines (ending with "snap!") is a picture of animals and a baby dressed as those animals. But your older kids will like it too, because there is more text to this book and the animal photographs are beautiful. My kids love saying the "snap!" part. Ages 2-7
"And when he was tired, he would sleep in her shade. And the boy loved the tree....and the tree was happy."
This is a classic. This book is simply illustrated in black and white. It is a sweet story of a boy & a tree; when the boy is hungry, the tree produces fruit, when the boy needs wood to build a house the tree gave him wood. The boy grows up and leaves the tree, but returns as an old man and the tree gives the tired man a stump to sit on. I can see why this simple, sweet book is a classic. Ages 2-9
