Rice Krispie Pumpkin Snack for Kids

Make ‘stems’ by melting Almond Bark in microwave safe bowl for 1 minute, stir & add green food coloring, microwave 20 seconds more, stir. (Note: Don’t over microwave or it will caramelize and be the wrong consistency for dipping!). Dip pretzel nuggets in green almond bark & set on parchment or wax paper to set.

Make ‘pumpkins’ by melting 3 TAB butter over medium heat, add 1 bag marshmallows, stir until melted (don’t over cook or brown as the Krispy treats will be hard). Mix in food coloring & quickly add 6 cups Krispy cereal. Put on was or parchment paper to cool enough to handle. Once cool enough (but don’t wait too long or you wont be able to shape them) shape into pumpkin shape with thumb ditch in middle.

Put “stem” in ditch on "pumpkin” and squish Krispy up around the base of stem. TA DA! Let your little one lick the beater – a must-do step at our house =-) This is easy enough my 3 year old Minnie was able to help!

Enjoy the fun fall treat. You can make these with red Krispy's to make  apples too!!
