Whether you are springing for your Disney World Dinner and a Show or using two table service credits, you will enjoy this laid back, one-of-a-kind high-spirited comedic musical.

Getting to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue takes place at the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You can easily catch a boat from the Magic Kingdom to the campsites. I would allow 30 minutes (in case you have to wait for a bus). You should also plan on arriving 30-45 minutes early.

Once you arrive at this very large resort you can sit on the porch (if there is still a seat), check out the trading post store, or play at the simple playground.  The bathrooms are small and it gets congested outside the entrance, especially if it is raining.

HINT: If you are a pin trader, make sure to ask to see the huge pin board at the trading post store.

Inside the beautifully created rustic theatre you will be served a beverage in a canning jar – nice touch! The servers buzz around trying to get food to all the tables before the show kicks off. You will be served subsequent courses during brief 10 minute intermissions in the show.

NOTE: Unlimited draft beer, wine, sangria, and soft drinks are included in your price.

Old fashioned Bucket of Fried Chicken - YUM!

Next you will be served all you care to enjoy BBQ ribs, Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans, cornbread, and salad. You will be served strawberry shortcake for dessert – Yum!

The fried chicken and baked beans were especially good.

Note: You usually get to take a picture with the performers, but due to heavy rain that was cancelled.

So what did we think?

It was a fun show that appealed to my kids, us, and grandparents alike. The comedy had even my kids laughing. The food hit the spot and I am glad we went.

Would I go again? Maybe. There are so many great shows and things to do at Disney that for two dining credits I think it will be a while before I venture back. But if you’ve never seen it – it’s a great show to see.
