This is a fun spring craft for kids of all ages that will make beautiful pictures you will be proud to hang up. I love how easy it was to make and clean-up from, the bright rainbow colors, and the beautiful end result.
This craft is perfect for Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, and elementary age kids too.
Spring Craft for Kids
Each child will need a piece of white paper. For my younger kids I made an outline of a butterfly, flower, cross, or similar for them to have as a template.
Now is the fun part! I got a big rainbow ink pad for the kids to use.
They dipped their fingers in any one color and put it on their paper.
I had baby wipes for each of them to clean their fingers between dipping to keep the ink pad looking fresh.
Ink Pad Rainbow Craft
Even my 3 years old was able to manage it on her own using baby wipes in between. She loved stamping!
The Ink Pad Spring craft even appealed to my almost 9 year old boy. It was hands on, not super involved, but made a beautiful picture.
Check out the close up of the finger prints. The texture from their fingerprints is stunning!
Easter Fingerprint Craft for Families
Here is one of our finished projects. I love this ink pad cross craft for kids for Easter. But you could easily make a flower, butterfly, or similar too.
