Note: Just when I was about to hit publish I came across a very similar project from my friend over at Crafty Morning. I guess there isn’t really much new under the sun! Make sure you check out her blog with lots of super clever crafts for all occasions!
This is a really fun St. Patricks Day craft that is simple for kids from Toddler-3rd grade to make.
All you need is construction paper and a tape or stapler.
St. Patricks Day Craft
Start out by stacking the following pages of construction paper and cut a 2” strip long ways:
- red
- orange
- yellow
- green
- blue
- purple
- black
Now cut out a pot out of black construction paper and glue gold coins into the pot.
Here is our completed craft. It is super simple, but lots of fun to make and enjoy. We hung ours from the ceiling in the kitchen where we could enjoy it during March for St. Patrick’s Day.
