St. Patrick’s Day Hanging Rainbow Craft

Here is a simple, but fun St. Patricks Day Craft for kids to make. This paper rainbow craft can be made by Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade kids.

This is a really fun St. Patricks Day craft that is simple for kids from Toddler-3rd grade to make.





All you need is construction paper and a tape or stapler.







St. Patricks Day Craft


Make links with strips of construction paper and a stapler Start out by stacking the following pages of construction paper and cut a 2” strip long ways:


  • red

  • orange

  • yellow

  • green

  • blue

  • purple

  • black


make a pot of gold and tape onto the black link

Now cut out a pot out of black construction paper and glue gold coins into the pot.

Simple Rainbow Craft for Kids Here is our completed craft. It is super simple, but lots of fun to make and enjoy. We hung ours from the ceiling in the kitchen where we could enjoy it during March for St. Patrick’s Day.
