Our kids are big Jake and the Never Land Pirates fans!
I have to admit, I enjoy watching it with the kids too! SO we decided to have one of our family fun nights themed especially towards it.
And with the Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book Special Event on Disney Junior premiere on Sunday October 26 at 6pm EST, I thought it would be the perfect time to share some fun ideas so you can make a family night of it too!
Set the Stage with Jake and the Never Land Pirates LEGO® DUPLO®
We put together a Jake and the Never Land Pirates LEGO® DUPLO® set. (Anyone else super impressed with the quality of DUPLO® coming out?!)
They spent some time playing….. okay a LOT of time playing!
Then I told them about the Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book Special Event coming up October 26th. They decided to come up with how the story might go. (I love it when they get creative!)
In their story, Captain Hook stole the book from the library in London. They had British accents and everything! I almost bust a gut laughing when my preschooler explained, “You can’t take that book Captain Hook. You have a library fine!”

Jake and the Neverland Pirates Themed Dinner
I made a pirate treasure map pizza for dinner. The kids loved it. Just use your favorite crust recipe, top with veggies to make your map. We used different colored peppers and black olives for ours.
For dessert we had a Rice Krispie Treasure Chest. It was super easy to make in mini loaf pans. Then just press them together, put some “treasure” inside. I also used some licorice to give the chest some accents. It was a hit!
As much as my preschooler loves the Jake and the Neverland Pirates show, she couldn’t tear herself away from the LEGO® DUPLO® toy. (If you don’t have one, this would make an awesome Christmas gift)
I can’t wait to watch the special LEGO® DUPLO®, Jake adventure on October 26th!
